At Nightingale Paton Limited, we are a small team of Chartered Accountants, based in Parnell, servicing a wide range of small to medium sized businesses. The practice is growing and due to our current senior accountant leaving Auckland we are on the search for 2 roles at the intermediate or senior accountant level. We provide professional training and support, a flexible working environment, client contact and the ability to be add value to our practice. We are also happy to consider part-time applicants for the roles.
The Roles
These are hands on accountant roles with direct client contact, as you support the monthly and year-end financial reporting, tax requirements, GST and direct taxes compliance.
Our ideal candidates would have:
· Knowledge of Xero, XPM, Xero workpapers and some knowledge of MYOB
· Knowledge of GST, FBT, RWT, payroll
· Experience in year-end accounts and tax compilation work
· Experience with Microsoft office – outlook, teams, excel, teams, word
· Good communication skills
· CA qualification/partly qualified, or qualified by experience
· Attention to detail and ownership of workflow
· Knowledge of IRD and Companies Office
